Broadwood 1839

This handsome Broadwood is number 50,256, dating it to 1839; the attractive stool, with storage for music, is included in the sale

The hammers appear to be the original green cloth; the dampers have been nicely restored.  The single overspun bass strings are also original.

The soundboard looks good.

I love that swirly enamel!

The piano was restored in 1994 and has been regularly tuned, most recently in 2023, and the owners assure us that it plays well.  The exemption code under the UK Ivory Act is JQNVVDCE.  It is in Lympstone, Devon; the price is £550.
