The inlay around the name-cartouche is typical of L&B, but the name itself is missing. We would expect to see an enamel plate, but it appears that this has been removed, possibly due to chipping damage, and replaced by a plain wooden oval.
Good to see that the silk-covered shade is present.
The ivories are in excellent condition, and evidently the lock still has a key.
It has the expected three handstops for a divided damper-lift and buff stop. Following a recent restoration, the strings and dampers are in good condition. The piano has been recently serviced (2026) and is stated to be in full playing order.
This piano is in Farnham, Surrey. The Ivory registration code is 7D9V22WH. The price is £4,000.
