Made by Miles Hellon in 1977, a copy of the 1745 original instrument in the Smithsonian Institute.

Constructed with the double-bentside sytem used on the original instrument.

5 octaves FF to f3

2 x 8', 1 x 4 ' plus lute stop.

Lute stop can be dialogued with 8' on lower manual.

Pitch currently 440 Hz

Dimensions 260cm long & 98cm wide.

Turkey quill plectra.

Has cover, tuning key and spare quills.

Stand dismantles for transport
