Dieudonné & Schiedmayer c. 1810        For Sale

This beautiful square piano by Dieudonné & Schiedmayer was owned by an aristrocatic Hungarian family in a mansion near Geneva for nearly 200 years before being bought by the current owner.

It remains in essentially excellent original condition, having never been restored.  Almost all the strings are original, and it is complete apart from the pedal lyre.  It does of course need restoration now to return it to full playing order, but no problems are envisaged.

The natural keys are bone, so no ivory problems.  It is in Cerdon, France.  The price is €5,000; near offers considered.
