Harpsichord by Malcom Rose at Piano Auctions 24 March

Malcolm made several harpsichords inspired by Alessandro Trasuntino; this example has the very practical extended compass FF - g3, enabling pretty well all works for harpsichord to be played, including those Scarlatti sonatas. It is made from cypress in the traditional manner, including the soundboard. 

It will be Lot 17 in the sale on 24th March.

The length is  8' 1", the stool is included.  The estimate is £1,500 - £2,000.
