John Storrs Harpsichord 1980s

When skilfully built, as this one is, John Storrs kits make fine instruments.  This one has a compass GG - e3, with 2x8' stops and 4', buff t0 8' and a shove coupler.  It is tuned to A=440, and is also happy at 415.

The elegant case is dark green with gold bands, the interior is deep red.  The stand may be dismantled for transport.

The natural keys are bone (no ivory problems!) and the sharps are solid ebony.  The soundboard is beautifully decorated  with no visible cracks or splits.  

It has recently been serviced and tuned.  It is located near Farnham, Surrey; the price is £7,5oo.  Transport within reasonable distance could be arranged at extra cost.
