EMS/Delin Harpsichord 2000

This harpsichord was carefully built in 2000 from the Early Music Shop kit by Oliver Moor.  It was designed by John Barnes after the instruments of the Ruckers dynasty, incorporating improvements to the interior bracing introduced by Albert Delin.

The specification is 2 x 8' plus buff. 

It stands at A415, and may be transposed a semitne up or down via blocks at each end of the keyboard.  

The owner leads a group 'Vache Baroque' and this harpsichord has been used for many concerts.  

 

It is in North London; viewing welcome.  The price is £5,000.
