Clavichord by Chris Barlow at Charterhouse Auctions
The maker of this beautiful walnut clavichord is not listed on the auction website, but I am reliably informed that it is by the excellent maker Chris Barlow. We cannot expect auction houses to be experts in all things, but it would have been nice to open the drop front board!

There is no condition report, but apart from one missing string pair, it looks pretty good to me.
This one was at Charterhouse Auctions, Sherborne, Dorset on 27 February. It did rather better than the estimate of £80 - £120 at £700 hammer price - but surely still a bargain for such a beautiful instrument.
