Broadwood Grand c. 1816

This six-octave Broadwood grand is very similar to the piano presented to Beethoven, a piano he loved.  This piano is said to have been with the same family since 1849.

The estimate for this one is £5,000 - £7,000; it sold for well above estimate at £12,500 hammer price (£16,100 including premium).
