I have great respect for the instruments of John Storrs of Chichester (my home city). Active in the late twentieth century, he was a pioneer of advanced woodworking techniques to enable his kits, when carefully built by a competent amateur, to make practical and good-sounding instruments.
It has the benefit of traditional-style wooden jacks and a buff stop.
There is one broken string, but the seller says that it is 'otherwise fine'. It comes with a tuning hammer. It is in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire; the price is £700.
