The Seller writes:
I am selling this single manual harpsichord by Raul Martin Sevillano, made in 2015, due to lack of space in my new home. The instrument has a nice strong sound (which has been described to me as ‘macho’), and is in excellent working order, having been recently serviced. The specifications are 2 x 8’. The instrument has five full octaves, and transposes between A4=415 and 440. I have really enjoyed playing it: it was my first harpsichord after upgrading from an old virginals, and I have found it really rewarding for playing all repertoire, from de la Guerre to Rameau and Scarlatti (but especially the later stuff).
The dimensions are 226 x 93 cm. Sevillano works in Zaragoza – details of this model are available here:

The instrument comes with the harpsichord stand, music stand and cover. This is a modern, well-documented instrument, and so there are no concerns about ivory. I emailed the maker and he replied: 'Hello, the sharp keys are made of white bone. They were bought at the Atelier Delaruelle in France.’
The instrument is in Hither Green in London. I am asking £4,500 for the instrument but am open to reasonable offers.
