Tomkison c. 1818

This elegant piano by the Royal maker Thomas Tomkison is number 4670, dating it to c. 1818. The mahogany case is cross-banded, and further embellished with ormolu brass embellishments around the edge, the drawer-fronts, and the turned legs.  Note the single pedal to operate the damper-lift.

It has been carefully and authentically restored, and remains in good condition.  Until fairly recently it has been regularly played by a talented amateur pianst.

The action, strings, bridge, and soundboard look good.

This piano is in the area of  Warminster, Wiltshire.

The exemption code in accordance with the UK Ivory Act 2018 is 6DQXN4Z6; the price is £450.
