At first sight this looks rather like an 1830s piano, but it is in fact number 10625, dating from 1807/8. As such it is one of the first Broadwoods to feature the 'double' escapement action that would be used until the end of square piano production in 1866. The legs, pedal, and music desk are later additions. It was restored by Simon Warburton in 1999,
The date which would have been in the space at the top of the oval name-cartouche has been erased; this was often done early in pianos' lives to avouid them looking literally dated. Now, of course, we prefer to see the dates!
The wrestpins have been replaced with modern pins, which do actually make it easier to tune!
Soundboard and bridge look good.
