I have an old and beautiful square piano for sale that needs a good home.
I had purchased it with the intention to restore it but I opted to restore a Broadwood square that came my way
instead.
The restored Broadwood square is due to return from the restorer this December and I would like to make room for
it as I have 2 other square pianos already in the house.
The Astor is in the same unrestored condition as I purchased although a lot cleaner
now.
The piano is located in Toronto, Canada and I am asking $1,200 CAD for this
piano.
I know from my research that the piano is from about 1800.
This piano was originally on a French stand but was later reworked to the 6 leg configuration that became
fashionable a decade later. It is missing a drawer but retains the original tuning hammer.
Images are attached and I do hope it can find a good home.
These early pianos are hard to find in Canada.
