Broadwood c. 1855                           Free to Good Home

This fine-looking piano is one of Broadwood's last and biggest square pianos, with a 6¾-octave compass CC - a4.

Sorry! The serial number has been 'cleaned off'!

Evidence of restoration at some time - those wrestpins are new!

The hammers and dampers look OK, and the strings are probably serviceable.  Characteristically for these late pianos, note that the treble strings run practically fore-and-aft.

This piano is in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, and is now offered Free to Good Home.
